About John S. Cryan Jewelers
In 1944, John S. Cryan Sr. opened his store in Philadelphia with one diamond and a dream for the future. Little did he realize that the family tradition would still be going strong more than 60 years later with its third generation. John S. Cryan Jr. opened the store at our current location in 1964. We have seen many changes in Southampton since then; for example, the demolition of the old Southampton Bank, the widening of Street Road from two lanes to four, and the construction of the shopping centers. You could say we grew up with the town. John S. Cryan III also received the title of Graduate Jeweler Gemologist, the highest title available from the Gemological Institute of America, in 1984, beginning a long list of titles and certifications he's earned. That list can be seen below. As our 70th anniversary nears, we look forward to the future while still offering the same old-fashioned service and value you’ve come to expect from the current and previous generations of the Cryan family.
